An impressive Victorian Silver & Cut Glass Claret Jug featuring an ornate chased silver gilt handle, neck and hinged lid. The body of the claret jug is made of elegant cut glass. The chased neck of the jug features two blank cartouches and the spout of the jug is embellished by a wonderfully detailed face.
This Jug is in good condition, save for some wear evident to the gilding (see images). The Jug is hallmarked and the lid part marked.
Made in London.
