An Antique Silver Gilt Cup designed as a copy of the 1660 Exeter Cup of Gold. The shaped bowl is diided into lobed sections, each with repousse floral design. This lobed design is carried through on the shaped lid. The difference between this reproduction and the original cup is the inscriptions. The reproduction cup is engraved with 1869 (Monogram) 1919 on the one side and a crest on other side. The Motto under the crest is Disce Mori Ut Vivas (Learn to die so that thou might live). The cup is presented in its original case and comes with a detailed typed description.

The Cup was given to Sir Thomas & Lady Hewitt on the occasion of their Golden Wedding Anniversary from their children in 1919.
