A wonderful and highly collectible piece of UK music history. A Solid Silver Trophy presented to the singer Frankie Vaughan in 1958 by the New Musical Express. The Plaque attached to the black plinth reads New Musical Express 1958 - Poll Presented to Frankie Vaughan Voted Britain's Top Vocal Personality and Favorite Male Singer.
The trophy has two wonderful scroll handles topped with lion heads and is subtly embellished with an egg and bead design on the rim and base.
This trophy is in good condition and is hallmarked.
Made in Chester.
