A really wonderful antique Victorian Vesta Case and Cigarette Case Set featuring a matching enamel design of Punch of Punch and Judy painting a portrait of their dog Toby. The central image is surrouned by a very detailed border which includes the word Punch as well as a collection of little figures and foliage. The interior of the Cigarette Case is gilded. The back of both the items has the engraving Edward D.E. van Weenen 22nd September 1887. The Vesta Case has a hinged lid and a jump ring.

Both Items are in good condition and both are hallmarked.

Made in London.
