A lovely George IV Georgian Solid Silver Snuff Box embellished with engine turned patterning on all the exterior surfaces. The Box has chased floral borders on the lid and base, as well as a chased floral thumb piece.The interior of the box is gilded. The interior of the Lid is engraved with a message - This Box is a gift from the TRAVELLERS OF MESSRS FISHERS & ROBINSON, to Wm BAYNE, as a tribute resect for the high opinion they entertain of him. 1st Jany 1834.
