This is a fabulous example of silver caddy spoon from the famous Hester Bateman's workshop and has the trademark scallop-shaped bowl that was first introduced by Hester Bateman in the early 1780's.

This Georgian tea caddy spoon is prettily decorated with crisp, bright-cut engraving to the handle and bears an applied plain disc to the terminal. It is in excellent condition with a set of hallmarks.
