A rare Antique Victorian Solid Silver Vesta Case / Match Striker decorated with an unusual Ancient Grecian themed design. The Case has a hammered finish embellished with hcased images of ancient Grecian Soldiers and designs. The Vesta also has the word ΧΑΡΙΣ engraved - translating as Kharis or Charis, one of the three graces in ancient Grecian lore, and with important meaning in the Christian faith later.
Made in Birmingham.
