A gorgeous Continental Silver & Enamel Box decorated with a painted enameled scene depicting Vermeer's The Geographer surrounded by deep blue guilloche enameling and embellished with creamy white areas. The silver borders are engraved with subtle detailing. The interior of the Box is gilded.
This Box is in very good condition and has import hallmarks.
